I really appreciate your taking the time to shed new light on this debate for those of us who are not gun owners and have never fired a gun for any reason — much less an assault rifle. It’s always important to view these gun-related issues from diverse points of view to gain a better understanding of what’s at stake for all sides (as I was born and raised in Long Island, New York, and have never lived in a rural area).
