I strive for fairness, factual accuracy and objectivity. My political affiliation has been registered Independent for the past two decades. I consider myself a middle-of-the-road moderate. I was previously active in the Democratic Party when I worked for President Clinton in my early 20s.

I'm a former federal government spokesman with three decades of experience. I have worked positions at the White House, Congress, and federal agencies, in addition to journalism. I also once worked as a Brand Ambassador for a social media startup based in Madrid, Spain.

I'm a proud member of Generation X who was born and raised in New York. I graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Journalism. I reside with my wife in the Washington-DC area.
