On the flip side, it’s extremely frustrating for writers to submit to publications and not hear anything back. The waiting game can be painstaking.
Therefore, my best advice is to find a publication for which you can develop a close working relationship with a top editor(s)—which may take some time—and then discuss a publishing schedule.
