Please see the article below in The Washington Post which cites the stats highlighted in my article stating there have been more mass shootings this year than actual days in the year…
“As of Aug. 5, GunViolenceArchive.org, which uses a much broader definition of a mass shooting, counted 255 just this year.”
While I understand data calculations vary, it’s still a very high number. Please also note that I have amended the aforementioned sentence in my article as follows:
“There have been more mass shooting incidents this year than the number of days in the year — over 250 according to Gun Violence Archive (and counting).”
