Chantal, your letter was very moving and sad. I admire your courage and strength to speak out publicly about your family experience, which will hopefully be therapeutic to some extent and help others to heal.
Unfortunately, I know you are not alone. There are many parents who are negligent in raising their children and providing them with a healthy home environment with positive reinforcement.
