Claire Cardwell: I’m very sorry for the pain, suffering and humiliation you endured at the hands of male bullies and cowards who committed illegal acts. The behavior you describe is reprehensible and should never be tolerated within the workplace or any place in society under any circumstances — period. I’m glad you fought back.

I admire your candor, courage and bravery in enduring through those horrible experiences, Claire. It only takes a few bad apples to make all men appear horrible, which is not the case overall. Still, gender inequality and sexism remain persistent problems in our modern times. We can do better as a society by electing more women to public office and placing more women on corporate boards and in CEO positions. The playing field won’t become level without it. God Bless You, Claire!
