Elwood: kudos on another astute analysis containing hard truths that some in the right-wing and alt-right media/society do not want to hear or acknowledge.

On a more positive note — at least from a White moderate and liberal perspective — these machine gun toting extremist conservatives zealots, while radical and deplorable, only represent a small fraction of the population. It’s unfortunate that the mainstream and right-wing media provides disproportionate coverage of their petty antics and buffoonery to create a false perception of their purported influence. It’s also telling that many of these deplorables are closely associated with hate groups espousing fringe toxic causes which are blatantly racist, anti-Semitic, xenophobic and overall un-American. They represent the worst of America.
