I agree with you that Mayor Pete is a masterful politician with natural political talent and high intelligence. But I'm concerned his selection would give Trump-Vance a big line of attack on LGBT rights, transgender issues and gay marriage. That would hurt the ticket. I do think he has a bright political future and should run for president down the road, when more younger voters comprise the electorate--as younger generations are more tolerant of the aforementioned issues.
