John, I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your exemplary engagement with my content. I would note that tomorrow November 4, marks the anniversary of Iranian students taking over the US Embassy in Tehran and holding the staff hostage for 444 days starting in 1979. I think more people need to be reminded of that, and be reminded of the Islamic revolution that occurred at the time, and be reminded that there used to be a pro western government in place—and, hopefully, that will become an actuality. The sooner the better for the people of Iran who are yearning for basic freedom, civil rights and human rights-which they deserve. However, as you know well, suppression through force is the name of the game in Iran. If you step out of line so-called morality police will beat you, torture you, and murder you in cold blood, sometimes in a public display to deter others from speaking out. Iran is still living in centuries forgone. The people yearn for freedom, and the western way of life, for which they deserve. Your thoughts?
