In response to the question in your headline: in a word, YES — at least until we have a real, meaningful and comprehensive racial reconciliation including a national proclamation of apology to all African-Americans regarding slavery, and appropriate reparations for all descendants of slaves (among other actions to be determined in concert with the African-American community). I think South Africa provides a good model to consider per the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. Therefore, unless and until that time, yes, “white people suck”. And I’m sure that is extremely mild language to most, if not all, African-Americans.
