Medium Staff: Many thanks for sharing this very helpful and insightful newsletter. I would appreciate your kind response to the following questions:

1) Why is the percentage of active writers earning more than $100 monthly only 6.4%? That appears to be a dismally low figure and a deterrent to writing on Medium from any sensible financial perspective.

2) How does Medium suggest proactively increasing the percentage of active writers earning more than $100 monthly? If you don’t have a plan to increase this figure on behalf of the writing community, why not?
