Richard Winkel: thanks very much for your comments, which are appreciated. However, with all due respect, kind sir:

  1. The news media don’t start or enter wars. Those decisions, as you well know, are made by politicians — presidents and Congress, with the input of the federal defense and national security establishments.
  2. Do you have any facts to support your claim blaming the news media for the “death of millions (literally millions).”???? Citations please…

Moreover, many brave journalists cover wars embedded with troops in the field. Others are killed reporting on wars in foreign lands for sake of objective journalism. Just something else to consider.

Finally — having worked extensively in government, politics and journalism — it’s my humble opinion that Mr. Trump will go down in American history as the most corrupt and deceitful president to ever occupy the Oval Office. Plus, it may still turn out Trump committed treason by being an agent of Russia and Putin. Therefore, I fully expect Trump be impeached and convicted by Congress once all the facts are known via the Mueller report and others sources, including the media.

As Mitt Romney said during the 2016 campaign about Trump: he’s a liar, a conman, a fake, a fraud. How true. Trump is a stain on the presidency.

Nonetheless, thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts. It’s important for all sides to be heard and considered in a constructive and cordial open online dialogue.
