Thank you, Tony Robbins, for another inspirational article with a highly beneficial and relevant message. I recall the story of the late actor, Jackie Gleason, from the hit TV show, The Honeymooners, in the mid-1950s. I read that he grew up poor but never publicly admitted to that because he believed it was a negative mindset. Instead, he was a positively expectant and reportedly told people that he was not poor, just broke. This is because “broke” is a temporary situation, whereas “poor” in a self-defeating mindset and self-fulfilling prophecy. Rather, the Gleason adopted what’s been called a “Prosperity Consciousness” which he attributed in part to his subsequent fame and fortune. Here’s to Jackie Gleason and positive thinking!
