Thanks for the timely and insightful article, Deborah. Some climate scientists Imhave said we’ve already passed “the tipping point” to prevent climate change, and it’s too late to catch up now—which will become more catastrophic each year and decade. Perhaps new and evolving technology will be able to mitigate some or all of the damage caused by modern society—maybe not. Or the planet might be cooled by one of any natural disasters regionally or globally that we can’t control anyway. Only time will tell…
