Thanks very much for your comments, which are appreciated. My point about hypocrisy is that the Democratic Party has always positioned and promoted itself as the champion of women's rights, including in the last week's election. Therefore, how could the party of women's rights and equality never have selected a woman for WH chief of staff? This let President-elect Trump claim credit for something the Dems should have done long ago.

It's also hypocritical for Dems because they always scold Corporate America for not having enough women CEOs, which is the government equivalent of WH chief of staff. I'm sure there were qualified women to serve in that position, having once worked in the White House for a Dem President.
