Thanks very much for your valuable feedback. I’m just wondering what led you to believe JFK was not excited about space? His speeches about going to the moon were extremely inspirational and passionate. Moreover, it never would’ve been possible if JFK did not convince Congress to double NASA’s budget—the only time that has occurred.
I agree that LBJ kept the Apollo program moving to fruition, but JFK laid the critical important foundation and captured public support.
Am I missing something?
