That is awesome that you got a boost. That is validation of you are exemplary writing and command of topics. However, I would give this boost program a thumbs down. Yes, I’m glad they have it rather than nothing, but let’s just say they really boosted and hyped the publicity for boost to the umpteenth degree 📜 . I would think that any article medium boosted would make A minimum of hundreds of dollars, and ideally thousands. That’s what they always brag about, that’s such and such author made $10,000–the highest per said month on the platform. They should at least provide a $100 bonus to the author, in addition to anything earned from engagement. At least that would be a semi-appropriate good will gesture. Otherwise, writers will abandon Medium when they have a big enough following, and move to Substack or something similar.
