Who knows, this is a crazy presidential election year and anything is possible. I’ll be writing more about this in part three of this series. There are so many potentially different scenarios that could play out over the course of the next months through November. Again, we are in uncharted territory. If both Trump and Biden go down for the campaign that will be up to the respective party leadership—the DNC and RNC—to act accordingly by getting new candidates into the field, and even using their bylaws to amend the primary cycle as needed. I’m sure both parties have a back up plan, they would have to be absolutely stupid to not anticipate what is certainly a possibility for both candidates. Again, we are watching history in the making.
