I'm an independent writer and blogger featured on more than a half-dozen digital media platforms. I write about a variety of topics delivering insightful perspectives on emerging trends and newsworthy issues in U.S. politics, international affairs, business, science, technology, space exploration, career and workplace, leadership, economics and social-cultural issues. When I'm not writing and blogging, I work as a strategic communications consultant and ghostwriter. Prior to that, I was a longtime federal government spokesman and strategic communications advisor for the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). I also worked in the White House and the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) as a young political appointee.

A native New Yorker, I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism and minored in Political Science at the University of Maryland. I reside in the Washington-DC area.
